I'm a commercial pilot with a passion for cinematography and an RC aircraft enthusiast. I started my first aerial photography company, Overview, during a time when drones weren't even on the horizon; a distant science fiction sort of thing. I flew a Cessna 172 and photographed homes, estates and commercial properties over Peachtree City and the metro Atlanta area from about 600 feet, as seen below. At those heights, the aerial images lacked detail and I was limited on the angles I could shoot.

That was then...enter cutting edge drone technology!

Today, Overview3sixty Aerials is FAA approved to take drones from ground level up to 400 ft giving you shots you simply could not get before. Drone photography fills a void between traditional aerial photography and ground photography which is really exciting for real estate marketing in particular. This photograph was taken with a drone from approximatley 100 feet.

I feel priviledged and humbled to be among the first pilots that are emerging as leaders in this new field of aerial drone photography.

My primary goal with this blog is to provide helpful information, show a little of what we do, and to create a space to share inspiring aerial images.
